The Gospels during the time of Muhammad

Muhammad exhorted the Christians to read and judge by the Gospels. That is proof of the authenticity of the Gospels during the time of Muhammad.

So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ rebellious.

Sura 5:47

Surely if the Gospel was corrupted during those days, he would not have exhorted them to read it and judge by it. It is a different story that he thought that the Gospel is a book written by Jesus. Similarly, Muhammad confirmed the Torah with the Jews as authentic in Sura 5:43. He exhorts them to follow the same. If that is the case, How the Bible got Corrupted?

The Inspiration

Because of this lingering thought of the Book written by Moses and another one by Jesus, he too started the mission of writing his own book. He might have been in some delusion that PROPHETS have to Write a Book to convey the message.

Had he read the Torah or the Injeel for himself, he would not have ventured out for this disaster. Moreover, as the Jews and the Christians did not give heed to his words, he got into a fog of writing his own book to COMPETE with them. The next verse confirms this illusion.

We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ this Book with the truth, as a confirmation of previous Scriptures and a supreme authority on them. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires over the truth that has come to you. To each of you, We have ordained a code of law and a way of life. If Allah had willed, He would have made you one community, but His Will is to test you with what He has given ˹each of˺ you. So COMPETE WITH ONE ANOTHER in doing good. To Allah you will all return, then He will inform you ˹of the TRUTH REGARDING YOUR DIFFERENCES.

Sura 5:48

This is one of the most confusing scriptures where Muhammad loses all reasoning.

• If it is coming from the same God whom you also worship, why do you need a new revelation?
• Why Not adopt the same revelation and also join with them?
• Why COMPETE with them with a NEW REVELATION of Muhammad?
• Even though he agrees that his book is a confirmation of the previous revelation, towards the last sentence, he agrees that his revelation has differences from the previous ones.

It’s amusing to note that Muhammad was under some illusion that the Christian and Jewish scriptures confirmed his revelation.

Believe in My revelations which confirm your Scriptures.¹ Do not be the first to deny them or trade them for a fleeting gain.² And be mindful of Me.

Sura 2:41

The Invention of the Corrupted Bible

Lo and Behold, the COMPETITION of Muhammad with Moses and Jesus got him into this quagmire of creating a scripture. His so-called God (Allah) started dropping his verses to make the new Revelation. Surprisingly, all these new revelations are centred around one Man. All these revelations are about ways for circumventing socially acceptable norms and decency. Allah is totally devoted to satisfying his prophet. Ironically, even his little wife notices that. she narrates the following in Sahih Bukhari. Notice the highlighted portion.

Narrated Aisha:

I used to look down upon those ladies who had given themselves to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) and I used to say, “Can a lady give herself (to a man)?” But when Allah revealed: “You (O Muhammad) can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them (your wives), and you may receive any of them whom you will; and there is no blame on you if you invite one whose turn you have set aside (temporarily).’ (33.51) I said (to the Prophet), “I feel that your Lord hastens in fulfilling your wishes and desires.”

Result of the competition with Moses and Jesus

Now, all these carnal desires of the prophet are packed into one single book. Do we need to think much as to which is the corrupted copy of the bible? Behold, I introduce to you the CORRUPT BIBLE a.k.a al-Qurʼān. The followers of this corrupt bible insist that the book be read ONLY IN ARABIC.

Conclusion

Now that you are introduced to the Corrupt version of the bible, please make an effort to read it and let all people know that Muslims are correct in telling us that the Bible has been corrupted. Show them the True Copy and the Corrupt Copy of the Bible and let them make a choice.
