Examining Allah

Words are cheap if it is not backed by actions. Sahih Muslim tells us that Allah will have to come to the lowest of heavens to listen to the prayers of Muslims. He cannot sit on his so-called high throne and listen.

Our Lord, the Blessed and the Exalted descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the latter part of the night is left and says: Who supplicates Me so that I may answer him? Who asks Me so that I may give to him? Who asks Me forgiveness so that I may forgive him?

Sahih Muslim 758a

The Allah of Islam has other issues too. He cannot listen to prayers when a Woman, a Donkey or a Dog passes by the person offering prayers.

Narrated `Aisha:

The things which annul the prayers were mentioned before me. They said, “Prayer is annulled by a dog, a donkey and a woman (if they pass in front of the praying people).” I said, “You have made us (i.e. women) dogs. I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) praying while I used to lie in my bed between him and the Qibla. Whenever I was in need of something, I would slip away. for I disliked to face him.”

Sahih Bukhari 511

This Allah is so Mysterious that he is the exact image of Muhammad. The Limitations of Muhammad is clearly seen in Allah. There is absolutely no evidence in the Quran where Allah heard the prayers of his devotees and saved them from a difficult situation. Reading through the Quran and Hadiths always gives us a picture of a Servant Allah to the Puppet Master Muhammad. This weird behaviour of Allah to please Muhammad did not escape the eyes of Aisha (Sahih Bukhari 4788).

Consider Jesus

Consider some words of Jesus in which he promises to hear and answer the prayers made in his name.

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:13

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

John 16:23

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Matt 18:20

These are not empty words. Jesus proved his Omnipresence even when he was incarnated as a Human. Let me quote one incident that happened when he was on this earth.

²² Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. ²³ After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, ²⁴ and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it.

²⁵ Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. ²⁶ When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.

²⁷ But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

²⁸ “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

²⁹ “Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. ³⁰ But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

³¹ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

³² And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. ³³ Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Matt 14:22-33

Not only that he is Omnipresent. He can control the wind and the waves and also do the impossible by walking on water to save his disciples. There are many more incidents in the bible in which Jesus heard the prayers of his people and delivered them, proving that he is the Living God. Jesus is Omnipresent, indeed.

Conclusion

As usual, it is time for us to update the comparison chart between Jesus and Allah. Again Allah fails miserably whereas Jesus stands the test of the True God. Jesus answers Prayers and he is Omnipresent. He is not hindered by a Woman, Donkey or Dog as Allah is. He hears in the worst of your situations.

The Comparison

In the previous articles, we have shown that Jesus proved his claims by actions. Compare that with mere claims by the Allah of Muhammad. Neither Allah nor Muhammad could back up their claims with corresponding actions. Notice this table to know what we have proved in the last two articles of this series.

If not God, who can Save us?

If there is something that every human dreads, it is mortality. The Bravest of the Brave will have to face the reality of Death. When God promises us LIFE after DEATH, he is not saying empty words. He knows what happens on the other side of the grave to promise us eternal life. So the proof of his power over life and death has to be proven by him walking over the chasm that divides mortality and immortality. Before he walks over the chasm, he needs to identify himself with the mortal human. That is where he becomes Immanuel. The reality of Jesus God with us comes into being when he lives as one among us.

All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look!THE VIRGIN WILL CONCEIVE A CHILD! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘GOD IS WITH US’).

Everytime Muslims confirm that Jesus was born of a Virgin, they are affirming that Jesus is God incarnate among Humans

The Purpose of the Incarnation of Jesus the Son of God

One of the Three persons in Godhead, Jesus the Son of God became the Son of Man too. He is a unique person to be God and Man at the same time. Death entered into humanity by the sin of Adam and Eve.

but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it YOU WILL CERTAINLY DIE.

Gen 2:17

Therefore, Death also has to enter into Jesus the God-Man so that he can establish his authority over death on our behalf. God alone is Immortal(1 Tim 6:16). However, Mortal Man has to die. Jesus, the God-Man can be the ONLY WAY for humans to attain Immortality. Hence Jesus the God-Man has to own both sides of the chasm to be THE WAY.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ BY A NEW AND LIVING WAY OPENED FOR US THROUGH THE CURTAIN, THAT IS, HIS BODY,

Heb 10:19-20

From Mortality to Immortality

Jesus the Son of God, became a Son of Man by Incarnation and conquered death and hell so that we can be ushered into the Kingdom of Heaven through the new and living way ( Heb 10:19-20 ) he has opened. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY FOR SALVATION OTHER THAN THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. The Gospels and the Epistles are filled with details about the DEATH and RESURRECTION of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Matt 20:28

 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”²⁰ They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” ²¹ But the temple he had spoken of was his body. ²² After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.

John 2:19-22

The reason the Father loves Me is that I lay down My life in order to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

John 10:17-18

There are over 250 references of the incarnation, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus in the Old Testament.

Muslims have been duped into denying the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus so that they do not gain the Eternal Life given by Jesus

They believe the lies of Satan through Muhammad

The Sequence of his Crucifixion, Death, Burial and Resurrection

• Before his crucifixion, Jesus was tried in the court of the Roman Governer Pontius Pilate and declared innocent. Mark 15.1-15; Matt 27.11-26; Luke 23.13-25; John 18.28-19.16
• He was Tortured, Crucified to death and Buried. Matthew 27:27-66, Mark 15:15-47, Luke 23:24-56, John 19:16-42
• On the Third day, Jesus Christ resurrected with power and Glory Matthew 28:1-10, Mark 16:1-14, Luke 24:1-44, John 20:1-29
• Jesus the God-Man is the Risen Lord who after his resurrection remained on this earth for Forty (40) days living publicly with his apostles and other disciples. (Acts 1:2-9)

So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Jesus Christ – Mission Accomplished

The Death of Muhammad and Allah

We are well aware that Allah was introduced by Muhammad and he died along with Muhammad. Nobody has ever heard from Allah or Muhammad after his death. The Life of Jesus was purpose-filled. He fulfilled the purpose and plan concerning him. But Lo why should we even compare Jesus with the 7th-century caravan robber who made himself a prophet?

The cause of his death

He was killed by a Jewess who poisoned him for killing her family members in the battle of Khaibar.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: A Jewess brought a poisoned (cooked) sheep for the Prophet (ﷺ) who ate from it. She was brought to the Prophet and he was asked, “Shall we kill her?” He said, “No.” I continued to see the effect of the poison on the palate of the mouth of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ).

Sahih al-Bukhari 2617

The Prophet (ﷺ) in his ailment in which he died, used to say, “O `Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison.”

Sahi Al-Bukhari 5:59:713

Recounting the last days of Muhammad

While Muhammad was on his deathbed, he knew he had given enough of poison to his followers and wanted to help them so that they would not go astray. The last days of Muhammad were filled with regret.

Ibn Abbas reported: When Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was about to leave this world, there were persons (around him) in his house, ‘Umar b. al-Kbattab being one of them. Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) said: Come, I may write for you a document; you would not go astray after that. Thereupon Umar said: Verily Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) is deeply afflicted with pain. You have the Qur’an with you. The Book of Allah is sufficient for us.

Those who were present in the house differed. Some of them said: Bring him (the writing material) so that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) may write a document for you and you would never go astray after him And some among them said what ‘Umar had (already) said. When they indulged in nonsense and began to dispute in the presence of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), he said: Get up (and go away) ‘Ubaidullah said: Ibn Abbas used to say: There was a heavy loss, indeed a heavy loss, that, due to their dispute and noise. Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) could not write (or dictate) the document for them.

Sahih Muslim 1637c

MUHAMMAD DIED AS A COMPLETE FAILURE. His mission(whatever it may be) was unaccomplished. Maybe he wanted to confess that he was a false prophet. Maybe he wanted to confess that he did all these for his personal gain and sexual gratification. But Alas, the man died as miserable as ever.

Events after his Death

 Muslims did not bury the corpse of Muhammad for three days after his death. They were indeed waiting for Muhammad to resurrect like Jesus. Notice the below portion of a Sahih Bukhari Hadith.

Narrated ‘Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) died while Abu Bakr was at a place called As-Sunah (Al-‘Aliya) ‘Umar stood up and said, “By Allah! Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) is not dead!” ‘Umar (later on) said, “By Allah! Nothing occurred to my mind except that.” He said, “Verily! Allah will resurrect him and he will cut the hands and legs of some men.” Then Abu Bakr came and uncovered the face of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), kissed him and said, “Let my mother and father be sacrificed for you, (O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)), you are good in life and in death.

By Allah in Whose Hands my life is, Allah, will never make you taste death twice.” Then he went out and said, “O oath-taker! Don’t be hasty.” When Abu Bakr spoke, ‘Umar sat down. Abu Bakr praised and glorified Allah and said, No doubt! Whoever worshipped Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but whoever worshipped Allah, then Allah is Alive and shall never die.” Then he recited Allah’s Statement.:– “(O Muhammad) Verily you will die, and they also will die.” (39.30) He also recited:

Another Highlight of the above passage is that it exposes the false God of Muslims. Clearly, THEY WORSHIPPED MUHAMMAD and was disappointed to see him leave. The last days of Muhammad and his death were a great disappointment for Muslims.

The Statements of Jesus

The above are the seven “I AM” statements of Jesus. Out of the Seven, I have circled out Three of them (Bread of Life, Way, Truth and Life, Resurrection and Life). They have a common factor. All of the statements of Jesus declares himself to be the source of LIFE. If Jesus could say all these things, Is Jesus God? Well, saying these things does not make a person God. However, proving these words to be true, makes Jesus God for sure.

Validating the Statements of Jesus

We have a responsibility to validate the veracity of the statements of Jesus before we decide on its truthfulness.

Jesus creates eyes and gives LIFE to that eye of the blind man.

Consider the below incident that happened at the Pool of Siloam

1 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” 3 Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. 4 We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. 

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” 6 Having said these things, HE SPIT ON THE GROUND AND MADE MUD WITH THE SALIVA. Then he anointed the man’s eyes with the mud 7 and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). SO HE WENT AND WASHED AND CAME BACK SEEING.

John 9:1-7

Now connect this with the creation of Man.

Then the LORD God formed a man FROM THE DUST OF THE GROUND and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Gen 2:7

Did you notice the similarities in both events? The God who created Man in Genesis did the same work for the man who was born blind with a defective eye. This proves that Jesus is the same God who created Man in the book of Genesis. Blessed is the man who got his eyes made by the Saliva of God.

Jesus Raises up the Dead

We find three events in the bible where Jesus raises up the dead. In this section, we would like to focus on one such event. The raising up of Lazarus. The reason why we would like to take this portion is to highlight the Omniscient nature of Jesus apart from this life-giving power.

We get to read the entire story in John 11. I will take some portions out of it to prove my points.

Jesus is ALL-KNOWING. He knew Lazarus was dead.

¹¹ After he had said this, he went on to tell them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up.”

¹² His disciples replied, “Lord, if he sleeps, he will get better.” ¹³ Jesus had been speaking of his death, but his disciples thought he meant natural sleep.

¹⁴ SO HE TOLD THEM PLAINLY, “LAZARUS IS DEAD¹⁵ AND FOR YOUR SAKE I AM GLAD THAT I WAS NOT THERE, SO THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE. But let us go to him.”

John 11:11-15

Jesus Claiming to be the Resurrection and Life

²³ Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”

²⁴ Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

²⁵ Jesus said to her, “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN ME WILL LIVE, EVEN THOUGH THEY DIE; ²⁶ AND WHOEVER LIVES BY BELIEVING IN ME WILL NEVER DIE. Do you believe this?”

²⁷ “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

John 11:23-27

Jesus Raises up Lazarus from his grave by his command

Words do not prove anything unless you can bring it to pass. Read the below portion and know who the dead is raised to life by the words of Jesus.

⁴¹ So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. ⁴² I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

⁴³ When he had said this, JESUS CALLED IN A LOUD VOICE, “LAZARUS COME OUT!” ⁴⁴ THE DEAD MAN CAME OUT, HIS HANDS AND FEET WRAPPED WITH STRIPS OF LINEN, AND A CLOTH AROUND HIS FACE.

John 11:41-44

Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

Validating the statements of the Allah of Muhammad

Dealing with Blind people

Let us see how Allah talks to a blind person

He will say, “My Lord, why have you raised me blind while I was [once] seeing?”

[ Allah ] will say, “Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten.”

And thus do We recompense he who transgressed and did not believe in the signs of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more enduring.

Sura 20:125-127

The Allah in the Quran is cursing people with blindness and claims that it is because he did not believe in the signs of Allah. May I ask which signs? As far as I see neither Allah nor Muhammad could do any signs.

In another instance, Muhammad frowned and turned away from the blind man asking for help.

He [i.e., the Prophet (ﷺ) ] frowned and turned away because there came to him the blind man,¹ [interrupting].

Sura 80:1-2

Muhammad and his god Allah is absolutely inhuman. They are worse than the sinners. They cannot give life.

Dealing with Dead People

Muhammad and his Allah could not give life to the dead people and there are no instances in the Quran or Hadiths regarding that. Muhammad was the angel of death for many people. He killed people and took away life from them. He and his Allah could never ever give life. Read the following verses where Muhammad and Allah took the lives of people.

KILL THEM wherever you come upon them¹ and drive them out of the places from which they have driven you out. For persecution² is far worse than killing. And do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque unless they attack you there. If they do so, then fight them—that is the reward of the disbelievers.

Sura 2:191

But once the Sacred Months have passed, KILL THE POLYTHEISTS ˹who violated their treaties˺ wherever you find them,¹ capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way. But if they repent, perform prayers, and pay alms-tax, then set them free. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Sura 9:5

Muhammad and his god Allah is busy promising Jannah to Muslim sinners, after death.

Allah’s Apostle said, “Someone came to me from my Lord and gave me the news (or good tidings) that if any of my followers dies worshipping none (in any way) along with Allah, he will enter Paradise.” I asked, “Even if he committed illegal sexual intercourse (adultery) and theft?” He replied, “Even if he committed illegal sexual intercourse (adultery) and theft.”

Is Jesus God?

Given the above data, it is conclusively proved that Jesus is Omniscient and also can give life to the dead and living. Jesus is indeed God and the incarnation of God among humans. His actions prove beyond any doubt.

Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else BELIEVE ME FOR THE VERY WORKS’ SAKE.

Why is Jesus God?

Before finding an answer to this question, we should know Who is God. If we know who is God, then we can compare God with Jesus from the evidence we have to arrive at the result. Right?

As it is about Jesus, we will have to use the Bible as the primary resource. The New Testament is where we get to know about Jesus. The New Testament was written by people who followed him, lived with him and accepted his teachings. At the same time, we will go to the Old Testament to know more about God and his characteristics. That would help us in the comparison process. At the same time, we will compare with the Allah of Islam to see if he passes the bill.

The Omnipotent God

The God of the Bible claims to be Omnipotent and his prophet challenges that there is Nothing too hard for him. If he says one thing, he can bring it to action.

²⁶ Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: ²⁷ “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Jeremiah 32:26-27

Logically speaking, anybody can make any claim. But does that hold water? Though the Omnipotence of God is seen every day in our lives, we would like to identify few noteworthy actions that can be clearly attributed to God.

Jesus Creates Matter

Jesus feeds 5000 People with 5 loaves of Bread. After the feeding, he is left with 12 baskets of Bread crumbs. He has the Potency to create a solution when there is a lack. Even if New Matter has to be created, he does it. Jesus is Omnipotent.

6 Sometime after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), ² and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs he had performed by healing the sick. ³ Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples. ⁴ The Jewish Passover Festival was near.

⁵ When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” ⁶ He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.

⁷ Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages^[a] to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”

⁸ Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, ⁹ “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”

¹⁰ Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). ¹¹ Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

¹² When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” ¹³ So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.

John 6:1-3

Do you now know why is Jesus God? I remember there is one other incident in which Jesus did similar work of Creating Matter. It is in Matt 15:29-39. Even Satan Acknowledge his power to create and change Matter(Matt 4:3). However, Jesus will not do it for his personal benefit showing that he is NOT self-centred as the prophet of Islam. Jesus is Omnipotent.

Allah could not create Matter

Notice a similar situation in the Life of Muhammad and companions. Allah is completely clueless and the people are using the animals that are plundered from others to cook meat. Allah had absolutely no solution to hunger.

Narrated Abaya bin Rifaa: My grandfather, Rafi` said, “We were in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) at DhulHulaifa, and the people suffered from hunger. We got some camels and sheep (as booty) and the Prophet (ﷺ) was still behind the people. They hurried and put the cooking pots on the fire. (When he came) he ordered that the cooking pots should be upset and then he distributed the booty (amongst the people) regarding ten sheep as equal to one camel then…….

Sahih Bukhari 3075

I challenge any Muslim to show me an incident in which Muhammad or Allah having Created any Matter. If they have to plunder and rob others for their food, it clearly means the Islamic Allah is Powerless.

Allah may make any claims. But when it comes to action, he is absolutely powerless. Just empty words. Nothing more.

Conclusion

Is Jesus God?

We have conclusively proved that Jesus exhibits the creative power of God and has the potency to do anything he wishes. Jesus never credited his actions to God as a prophet would do. He made sure that his disciples understood it. I would like to end this with a conversation between Jesus and his disciples regarding the creation of matter.

Jesus Speaks for Himself – Why is Jesus God?

¹⁷ Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked them: “Why are you talking about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? ¹⁸ Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don’t you remember? ¹⁹ When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?”

“Twelve,” they replied.

²⁰ “And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?”

They answered, “Seven.”

²¹ He said to them, “DO YOU STILL NOT UNDERSTAND?”

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess [a]that Jesus [b]Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming and is now already in the world.

1 John 4:1-3

Taking out the most important portion of the above scripture, let me reiterate.

Every spirit that does NOT confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is NOT of God

Before mentioning the above, John clearly said that such doctrines are produced by FALSE PROPHETS.

What does it mean by “COME IN THE FLESH”?

In simple terms, GOD, THE SON, Came in Human Form(Flesh) from a Form that was Not at all Human. This process is termed INCARNATION. He took the Human Form and Came in. In the narration of Christmas, every Christian is Celebrating the entry of God into Humanity. It is not like celebrating the Birthday of some important person.

Paul the Apostle, summarises the Incarnation and the Ministry of Jesus in his epistle to the Philippians.
