Notice the picture below. Muslims, often bring up this argument comparing the Habit of the Nun with the Muslima’s Hijab. Read this article and next time your Muslim friend tries to compare the Habit of the catholic nun with the Hijab, you will have a reply which might be surprising to them.

The Purpose of the Habit of the Nun

A nun is a woman who has given herself to praying and service to society. Officially, most of her actions are involved in the works of the Church. The Church has certain rules and she is well aware that she has to abide by those rules. As prayer is an important and constant activity in her life, she is obligated by the Christian scriptures to cover her head.

But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man,^[a] and the head of Christ is God. ⁴ Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonours his head. ⁵ But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonours her head—it is the same as having her head shaved. ⁶ For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.

1 Cor 11:3-6

It is mandated upon the woman to cover her head “While Praying or Prophesying“. Christian women are not mandated to cover her head always unless she is praying or prophesying. The Nun’s dress makes her always ready for prayer and that is a convenience.

The Original purpose of the Hijab

Just as we investigated the Bible for the Habit of the Nun, we will go to the Islamic Scriptures to investigate the Hijab.

The Following is the Divine Verse of al-Hijab

Narrated `Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) `Umar bin Al-Khattab used to say to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) “Let your wives be veiled” But he did not do so. The wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) used to go out to answer the call of nature at night only at Al-Manasi.’ Once Sauda, the daughter of Zam`a went out and she was a tall woman. `Umar bin Al-Khattab saw her while he was in a gathering, and said, “I have recognized you, O Sauda!” He (`Umar) said so as he was anxious for some Divine orders regarding the veil (the veiling of women.) So Allah revealed the Verse of veiling. (Al-Hijab; a complete body cover excluding the eyes). (See Hadith No. 148, Vol. 1)

Sahih al-Bukhari 6240

In simple words, when the wives of the prophet used to go out to defecate in the open, people could recognize them. So they requested Muhammad to have these ladies cover up their faces. They were embarrassed to see them out in the open with their dresses lifted. The following is another such narration.

A’isha reported that Sauda (Allah he pleated with her) went out (in the fields) in order to answer the call of nature even after the time when veil had been prescribed for women. She had been a bulky lady, significant in height amongst the women, and she could not conceal herself from him who had known her. ‘Umar b. Khattab saw her and said:Sauda, by Allah, you cannot conceal from us. Therefore, be careful when you go out. She (‘A’isha) said: She turned back.

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was at that time in my house having his evening meal and there was a bone in his hand. She (Sauda) cline and said: Allah’s Messenger. I went out and ‘Umar said to me so and so. She (‘A’isha) reported: There came the revelation to him and then it was over; the bone was then in his hand and he had not thrown it and he said:” Permission has been granted to you that you may go out for your needs.”

Sahih Muslim 2170a

As a result of embarrassments like this, the ever-ready Allah had to drop in verses to Muhammad so that his Sahabis might be saved from unwanted visions.

The Origin of the Hijab and the Burqa is only to hide their faces when they defecate in the open that others might not identify them later. It is to cover up their shame. It has got absolutely no religious or spiritual significance, for Muslims.

In Muhammad’s time, if a woman is covered like this, It has to be assumed that she is going for the call of Nature.

Conclusion

Now that we know the difference between the intent of both the Habit of the Nun and the Hijab and Burqa of the Muslima, we should not be in any confusion. Every time I see a Muslima in the Burqa or the hijab, it reminds me of the yucky story. Why do Muslim ladies still want to continue with the shameful history they have been subjected to? Do they really take pride in the dress of the Hijab?

We are living in modern times. We do not have an issue with replying to the call of nature with the most modern amenities around us. Why do we need our Muslim sisters’ parade around in the Burqa and Hijab that reminds us of the medieval times of barbaric Islamic regimes?

Once the Shariah Banking is in place and the Shariah Lawyers/Bankers get to move their pawns within the corridors of power, they will gradually seize power and authority. After that it is not a matter of IF, but WHEN. The democratic institutions are the ones that will be targeted. That is why we do not see any true democracy in the Islamic World. Democracy and Shariah are incompatible.

Let me quote you a Fatwa from the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia in which he is unambiguous that Shariah is the enemy of democracy.

Democracy is a man-made system, meaning rule by the people for the people. Thus it is contrary to Islam, because rule is for Allaah, the Most High, the Almighty, and it is not permissible to give legislative rights to any human being, no matter who he is.

It says in Mawsoo’at al-Adyaan wa’l-Madhaahib al-Mu’aasirah (2/1066, 1067):

Undoubtedly the democratic system is one of the modern forms of shirk, in terms of obedience and following, or legislation, as it denies the sovereignty of the Creator and His absolute right to issue laws, and ascribes that right to human beings. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):   {You do not worship besides Him but only names which you have named (forged) — you and your fathers — for which Allaah has sent down no authority. The command (or the judgement) is for none but Allaah. He has commanded that you worship none but Him (i.e. His Monotheism); that is the (true) straight religion, but most men know not} [Yusuf 12:40].

Ruling on Democracy and Elections

Shirk is considered as the Worst kind of Sin in which a partner is assigned to Allah. Logically speaking, for a Muslim, Democracy is worse than Lending on Interest. Lending on Interest is Haram. But Democracy is SHIRK. The Covert Trojan horse of Islamic Banking is not coming to help you but to enslave your nation.

The Egyptian Fatwa regarding Democracy

Egypt is home to the largest Islamic University(Al Azhar) which trains the most fundamental Islamicists. Even they confess that Shariah is the enemy of Democracy. Let me quote the fatwa from the Chief Mullas of Egypt.

The Western understanding of this term places highly the authority of the people to an extent of giving people the full right of legislation and this full authority is higher in weight than any other authority. Therefore the executive authority executes the general laws or more precisely the general public’s will and the judicial branch rules with the laws which were legislated through the legislative authorities. In other words, whenever consensus of the people was reached on any issue, it passes as an effective law even if what was agreed on is considered prohibited in all religions and creeds.

This Western understanding of democracy does not acquiesce with God’s Shari’ah in which the ruling solely belongs to God. God says in the Quran, “The decision is only for Allah . He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders.” 6:57 the renowned scholar Abu al So’ud commented on this verse in his exegesis saying that the ruling on all matters solely belongs to God without the slightest interference of anyone else in any way, shape or form. (3/142).

Dar Al-ifta

One of the most covert attempts to take over the democracy of nations is through the mechanism of voting right guaranteed to its citizens. The Birth rate among Muslims in non-Islamic nations would be unusually high. There is only one reason for that. They want to topple the democratic setup of nations to take over power in an Islamic way and remove democracy from those countries. Truly Shariah is the enemy of democracy.

The life of Non-Muslims in a Shariah-compliant country

As you would have noted in the quotations of the Fatwa, the clerics are unambiguous that the law of Allah has to replace democracy. Where do we get the Law of Allah? Obviously from the Qurán and the Sunnah.

Based on the Qur’an, all unbelievers (Non-Muslims) are categorised as Kaafirs.

In an Islamic Nation, the rulers and the judges of the land will surely be Harsh and cruel towards non-Muslims.

Indeed, We revealed the Torah, containing guidance and light, by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah, made judgments for Jews. So too did the rabbis and scholars judge according to Allah’s Book, with which they were entrusted and of which they were made keepers. So do not fear the people; fear Me! Nor trade my revelations for a fleeting gain. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the disbelievers.

Sura 5:44

O Prophet! Struggle against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be firm with them. Hell will be their home. What an evil destination!

Sura 9:73

The Views of Islamic Commentators

Many Muslims may push aside these quranic verses and tell us that it is not so and try to give a different flavour to the whole story. Unfortunately, for them, the Scholars who wrote the Tafsirs do not agree with them. They, in fact, give more clarity to these verses and proves that indeed Shariah is the enemy of democracy.

وَمَن لَّمۡ يَحۡكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ

(And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the disbelievers,) “Whoever rejects what Allah has revealed, will have committed Kufr, and whoever accepts what Allah has revealed, but did not rule by it, is a Zalim (unjust) and a Fasiq (rebellious) and a sinner.” Ibn Jarir recorded this statement. `Abdur-Razzaq said, “Ma`mar narrated to us that Tawus said that Ibn `Abbas was asked about Allah’s statement,

Tafsir Ibn Kathir for Sura 5:44

جَـٰهِدِ ٱلۡڪُفَّارَ وَٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِينَ

(Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites) “With the hand, or at least have a stern face with them.” Ibn `Abbas said, “Allah commanded the Prophet to fight the disbelievers with the sword, to strive against the hypocrites with the tongue and annulled lenient treatment of them.” Ad-Dahhak commented, “Perform Jihad against the disbelievers with the sword and be harsh with the hypocrites with words, and this is the Jihad performed against them.”

Similar was said by Muqatil and Ar-Rabi`. Al-Hasan and Qatadah said, “Striving against them includes establishing the (Islamic Penal) Law of equality against them.” In combining these statements, we could say that Allah causes punishment of the disbelievers and hypocrites with all of these methods in various conditions and situations, and Allah knows best.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir for Sura 9:73

 O Prophet, STRUGGLE(JIHAAD) AGAINST DISBELIEVERS(KUFR), WITH THE SWORD, and the hypocrites, with words and [definitive] arguments, and be harsh with them, through rebuke and aversion [towards them]; for their abode will be Hell, an evil journey’s end, [an evil] resort it is!

Conclusion

The innocent-looking Islamic Banking is at your doorstep with a sinister plan for your country. Do not let the guard down. Raise the alarm. Let not the money-minded politicians sell off your country just like how Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of stew. Once the monster is in, any amount of crying will be unhelpful.

What is Banking in layman terms.

Banking is defined as the business activity of accepting and safeguarding money owned by other individuals and entities, and then lending out this money in order to conduct economic activities such as making profit or simply covering operating expenses.

The institution (Commercial Bank) accepts deposits from the general public and lends them out to their customers. When the bank accepts the deposit from the general public, it pays interest on that amount for the TIME it holds the money. The Bank makes a profit on that money by lending it out to its customers at a higher interest rate for the TIME they keep the money. That is how the adage TIME IS MONEY came into existence. The Bank also makes a profit by charging different fees and commissions for the services it provides.

These banks work under regulations of the Central Bank of the country and have to follow the accepted banking norms. It is beyond the scope of this article to give a detailed study of banks.

What is Islamic Banking?

Islamic Banking is a system that introduces the Shariah Law(Islamic Law) compliant banking into a land. Generally, it is marketed under the guise of “INTEREST-FREE LOANS“. The term “Interest-Free Loans” sounds quite enticing and unknowingly people fall into the charm of these magic words. The Shariah Dawah propagators will sell anything in the name of Islamic Banking to fool people. However, in reality, it is nothing more than a Trojan horse to subjugate you and your nation.

As per Islamic Banking, they do not charge “INTEREST” but they charge their share of the “LENDER’S PROFIT“. They fix the Lender’s Profit based on a decided percentage value of the principal and charge them. If you are normal, you might be wondering what is the difference between the “Interest” and “Lender’s Profit”. Yes, you are right. There is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE. It is only a name change just as how Qathem became Muhammad. It is the Trojan horse of Islamic Banking to introduce Shariah into your land.

We all know that Saudi Arabia is the best example of a Shariah Law country. I checked out the website of Riyad Bank to see how these Interest-Free Loans of the Islamic Bank works. I tried with the home loan calculator and see what I got. They replaced the INTEREST with the term “PROFIT ADDED“. But it functions just like any interest calculator. So much for the great Interest-Free Loans of Islamic Banking.

Notice the highlighted area. It clearly mentions the interest rate and calls it as “PROFIT“

Conclusion

Readers, you have seen how Islamic Banking works. They do the same thing as any other banks do, but with deceptive terminology. This model is easy to be accepted by many countries because there is really no change in the operations of the bank. However, this Trojan horse of Islamic Banking brings the Shariah Lawyers into the corridors of power of the Nation and the Financial System of the Central Bank. They can now gradually proceed to the next step of Islamization. We will deal with that in the next article.
